Tito West is a photographer from South Texas.
For nearly twenty years, he has traveled and worked throughout Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean and the Canadian north. He spent several years living in Africa, and much of his photographic work there was made while guiding safaris. His travels have also included extensive pack trips on horseback through the Canadian wilderness and, since 2014, repeated journeys into Brazil’s southern Amazon basin. Closer to home, he has photographed working ranches and rodeo culture across the American West.
His first book, Another Life, was published in 2024 and brings together photographs made over fifteen years in Africa. He is currently working on new books from Africa and Brazil.
He lives in Texas with his wife and children.
